About me

DClinPsy, CPsychol,

I am a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist, which means I have  a degree in Psychology and a Doctorate Qualification in Clinical Psychology. I have also had further training in Systemic Family Therapy. I am registered with  the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and a member of the Association of Clinical Psychologists (ACP). I am fully insured.

I worked in the NHS for over 20 years, culminating as the Head of Psychology in a large award-winning NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in London. I left the NHS in 2020 to focus on my Independent practice.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained in a number of disciplines including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other Mindfulness-based therapies. I tend to use a combined approach tailored to suit the particular issues involved and also the person/people I am working with. I am accepting referrals for ADHD & Autism assessments.

Training & Consultation:

I regularly provide teaching, training and consultation to organisations, companies, parent groups and schools on mental health, neurodiversity and parenting.  I also supervise other Clinical and Counselling Psychologists.

I have been working in independent practice for over 15 years.  I am also a parent and have three children.
